Meet The Team
After graduation from the University of Kentucky with a Business Administration degree, Scott jumped into the construction industry after graduating and worked his way from construction project management/Estimating to the formation of Jacob’s Group, Inc. alongside his wife, Tonya. Scott brings to the table over 21 years of experience in building, developing and managing to commercial projects including medical, retail, senior care, industrial and office projects throughout the US.
Alongside his wife, Tonya, CEO, Scott fulfills the role of Jacobs Group, Inc. President. As President of
Jacobs Group, Scott manages procurement of all new projects, internal operations and is the main
contact for CEO and VP of Construction.
Joe’s foundation in construction began as a site superintendent and has grown into the role he has today, as President of Construction for JGI. While developing his skills in the field and making the transition into management, he developed a keen eye for the importance of accuracy,attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills. During his role as a project manager, he gained similarly valuable experience in how to run complex phased projects, working in occupied spaces, managing and working stringent budgets, and ensuring task completion with strict deadlines. Joe utilizes his strong leadership & interpersonal skills to help maintain existing client relationships, while also gaining opportunities for continued growth and business development. In his free time, Joe likes to take in the outdoors with his wife and four children.
Jack Allgeier is our lead Project Engineer. He handles Material Procurement, Submittals, and a myriad of
other daily support tasks to ensure our Project Managers and Site Superintendents have everything they
need to keep their projects running smoothly and timely. Jack has 10 years of Customer Service experience, ranging from Food Service to the Medical field to Construction. Jack’s organization, outside the box thinking, and interpersonal communication skills have allowed him to have a hand in the success of nearly every Jacobs Group project over the last year and a half, and become a resource to all who
work alongside him. In his free time, Jack & his girlfriend enjoy spending time with family, cheering on
the University of Louisville Cardinals, and supporting the Louisville City Football Club.
A Louisville native, Tonya earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Louisville and her
Masters in Security and Business Management from Webster University. Then she went on to a career in
the airline industry with UPS that spanned 16 years. After leaving Corporate America, Tonya and her husband, Scott, started Jacobs Group, Inc. in 2013. As
51% owner and Chief Executive Officer, she is responsible for the management and financial operations,
human resources, office operations and licensing administration.
Tonya combined her leadership skills with building an amazing team of seasoned professionals to position the company for significant growth and success. In her free time, Tonya enjoys spending time
with her husband, two children and friends.
“David Buchart is a Sr. Project Manager and estimator for Jacobs Group. He has over 25 years" experience in real estate, development, and construction management. David has worked with
many national clients such as Marriott, Hyatt, KFC, Taco Bell, First Watch restaurants, Puma Shoes, Gucci, AT&T, Concentra and Heartland Dental as well as Class A office space and residential developments both nationally and internationally. David is detail oriented and result driven to give each client personalized communication and service throughout the project and after. He is always available to his clients and knows that personnel relationships drive his success as well as others. In his free time, David enjoys working on home renovation projects, cooking, and spending time with his wife and children.”
“Jean Lewis is our Procurement Officer, who is responsible for procuring subcontractor bids and all necessary job site rentals for each project from portable toilets to dumpsters, offices & storage containers. Jean has an Extended Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Oakland Community College in Oakland, MI. Jean has been with Jacobs Group since February 2015, starting part-time and going full-time shortly thereafter to help with the company’s rapid growth.
In her free time, Jean enjoys reading and spending time with her family.”
Lisa Flannery is a member of our Accounts Payable and Project Support Team. She assists in Payment coordination of invoices and payment applications for all subcontractors and vendors.
Lisa has 25 years of accounting experience specializing in Financial, Medical, Construction, and the Travel Industry. Lisa’s commitment to serving others is shown daily in her kindness, patience,
and positive attitude. In her free time, Lisa enjoys traveling and spending time with her family
“Sue Buechele is our Contract Administrator, Accounts Payable Manager and assists in project
coordination at various levels. Sue has over 30 years of accounting experience specializing in Financial, Medical, Energy and Construction industries. Sue is a powerful force in the workplace
and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. In her free time , Sue enjoys camping and spending time with her husband, children and four grandchildren”.
